Royal Butterfly Cyber Class – bookings now closed!
The Royal Butterfly cyber class is suitable for all levels of embroiderers wanting to learn Goldwork embroidery – The cyber class covers padding with felt, applying paua shell laminate, pearl purl, chipping, formally laid purl, long and short stitch, applying silk organza and Grecian.
The class is taught in four lessons and includes preparation and transferring the design. The kit contains all fabrics, English gilt metal threads, coloured Indian sadi threads, Gutermann thread, garnets, needles and pattern required to work the design. Once you have registered for the class, your kit and requirements list will be mailed to you along with your password to the class and forum.
The Cyber Class notes will be posted online at two week intervals and contain step by step instructions and colour photographs as if you were watching over my shoulder as I stitch. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the PDF file. This is free to download at http://get.adobe.com/reader/
As mentioned, an online Forum has been created for Cyber Class participants to talk to each other about their progress, ask me questions and post photos. This is a closed forum that only Royal Butterfly Cyber Class participants can enter. If you wish to ask me any questions about this, please feel free to email me.

Price: $200.00 Worldwide. This cost includes the kit, domestic postage with tracking/international shipping with DHL, and the lessons to work the project.
The lessons will be posted online on 29th July, August 12th and 26th and September 9th, 2022.
The class will conclude on the September 22nd, 2022.
The class is limited to 20 participants – bookings now closed. The closing date for bookings is 30th June, 2022 (to allow for shipping of kits to international locations). Please note that this is the last time that this cyber class will run - the project will be discontinued after this class due to supply chain issues.
