Description
A Kaleidoscope of Goldwork Butterflies
This is a very special book that is dear to our heart. We are donating all profits from this book to NORSE (New Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus) research in memory of our darling girl, Bek. The book is limited to a print run of 1500 and each copy will be numbered and signed.
The collective noun for butterflies is a kaleidoscope – and what better name for a book of Goldwork butterfly projects that are worked in all the colours of the rainbow. The book has 14 shimmering projects in a range of skill levels. From beginner’s pieces such as Flitter, through to more advanced designs like Pearl Butterfly, there is something for every embroiderer.
The first 21 pages are the techniques used to create most of the designs in the book. The following pages have the instructions, patterns and close up photos of each project along with any other techniques that are specific to that project. The projects in the book are: Golden Flutterby, Cleo, Raspberry Treasure, Rose Butterfly, Flitter, Lavender Sparkle, Art Decofly, Butterfly in Blue, Silvery Blue Or Nue, Opal Fluttering, Medieval Butterfly, Bush Butterfly, Copper Shimmer and Pearl Butterfly.
Soft cover – 122 pages – Pre-orders are being accepted now! The books will be ready to post at the end of September. Your credit card will not be charged until the books are ready to send out.
Note: This book is not being distributed in shops to maximise the profit for the charity. Thank you for supporting our fundraiser.
