I was recently asked by an embroiderer for an Aficot – and as we proud ourselves on sourcing hard to find items, I was thrilled to say that I knew that one of my suppliers had them. If you are wondering what an aficot is, it is a burnishing tool for smoothing satin stitch embroidery. These aficots are made of ebony and you hold the thick end and smooth the fine end over the embroidery.
