Description
Aurum Olivae translates to Golden Olive – the colours of this butterfly. The design is worked on an old gold silk dupion in shades of olive green and gold, using English gilt metal threads, Colourstreams silk, beads, pearls and paua laminate.
Techniques include padding with felt, long and short stitch, chipping and laying purl over padding.
