I seem to be in a green phase! This iridescent beetle brooch uses actual beetle wings alongside gilt and coloured metal threads to create the three dimensional little beetle. He is embroidered in gold and jewel green tones on silk organza and uses a range of materials including English gilt metal threads, English coloured couching threads, Indian sadi threads, Mill Hill beads and beetlewings to give that extra flash of green! The design size is approximately 5.5cm x 6cm.
