I had a few miscellaneous threads in stock for needle lace and have decided to enlarge the range and put them on the website. Some of my threads are still coming (thanks to Covid), so I’ll keep adding them on as they filter into stock.
DMC Special Dentelles (also sometimes known as filet dentelle) is an 80 weight cotton thread that is great for needle lace, Blackwork, tatting, crochet and working dimensional stitches. I’ve used it to create fine lace stockings for Stumpwork in Ceylon stitch, cords, finger-looped braids and love it for a heavier thread than a strand of silk for Blackwork.
