Dragonfly Brooch Cyber Class – bookings now open!

The Dragonfly Brooch cyber class is suitable for beginners wanting to learn the basics of Goldwork embroidery – The cyber class covers padding with felt, using Pearl Purl, chipping and a little ribbon embroidery.

The class is taught in two lessons and includes preparation and transferring the design.  The kit contains all fabrics, English gilt and Indian coloured metal threads, Gutermann thread, Colourstreams Silk ribbon, beads and Swarovski Crystals, needles and pattern required to work the design. Once you have registered for the class, your kit and requirements list will be mailed to you along with your password to the class and forum.

The Cyber Class notes will be posted online at two week intervals and contain step by step instructions and colour photographs as if you were watching over my shoulder as I stitch. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the PDF file. This is free to download at http://get.adobe.com/reader/

As mentioned, an online Forum has been created for Cyber Class participants to talk to each other about their progress, ask me questions and post photos. This is a closed forum that only Dragonfly Brooch Cyber Class participants can enter. If you wish to ask me any questions about this, please feel free to email me.

Dragonfly Colours available:  Flesh, Peach, Hot Pink, Peacock Blue, Red, Green/Gold, Copper Brown, Purple, Coral, Pale Pink, Pink/Mauve, Emerald.

Price: $80.00 Worldwide. This cost includes the kit, domestic postage with tracking/international shipping with DHL, and the lesson to work the project.

The lessons will be posted online on March 17 and 31, 2022.

The class will conclude on April 15, 2022.

The class is limited to 30 participants – bookings now open. The closing date for bookings is February 17, 2022 (to allow for shipping of kits).
