Description
This piece features both Stumpwork and Goldwork techniques to create a hummingbird coming to visit a spray of fuchsias. In America every garden with fuchsias has a pair of hummingbirds visit. This piece utilizes both gilt and coloured purls and couching threads as well as kid leather and Pearsall’s silks. The feature of the piece is the completely detached bloom, hanging freely from the stem. The design size is 21cm x 28cm.
