Invermay Wildflowers 1 – Hardenbergia, Dillwynia and Goodenia is the first in a series of our local wildflowers embroidered in Stumpwork. Our bush block is delightfully filled with colour from September to March with an ever changing display of local wildflowers – this piece features three of them!
Embroidered in Au Ver a Soie and Cascade silks on a background of olive green silk dupion, they use three padding techniques and a number of wire techniques to create the close to actual sized blooms.
