Description
With this piece I have taken the formality of Goldwork and relaxed it to create this stunning piece – Just Resting. A completely three dimensional dragonfly is perched atop his favourite branch – master of all he sees.
Worked with felt and cotton padding, couching threads, silks and silk ribbons, gold and bronze kid and various golden and coloured purls, this design would look elegant in any room. The kit contains chocolate silk dupion, felt, homespun, paint, bead wire, soft cotton, kid, couching thread, Colourstreams silk thread, Hannah silk ribbon, milliary wire, smooth purl, rough purl, bright check purl, beads, needles and instructions. The design is approximately 20cm x 27cm.
