Lady Slipper Orchid is a Stumpwork project is worked in Au Ver a Soie and Colourstreams silks on a background of silk dupion and uses a range of techniques to create this botanical study of the Provincial flower of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Techniques employed include padding with felt and soft cotton, working detached elements, slips and making gimp threads. Design size: 10cm x 17cm approximately
