Description
This design was embroidered for the Embroidery Association of Canada National Seminar in Victoria, Canada and is the Provincial flower of British Columbia. It is embroidered on dark green silk dupion using Cascade House and Gumnut Yarns silk threads. The design is highlighted with English gilt metal threads, coloured couching threads and brass shim. The Stumpwork techniques include padding with felt and creating detached elements using range of techniques. The kit includes all fabrics, threads and wires, needles and instructions. Design size: 12.5cm x 18cm approximately
