Description
Peony uses techniques that have been used by Chinese embroiderers for centuries. The Peony is embroidered using Pekin (French) knots and long and short stitch (Hidden Stitch variation), all outlined with a gold couching thread. The piece is embroidered in long filament silk and Kreinik Japan Thread #7 and measures approximately 11cm x 11cm.
