Description
The Prairie Crocus is the first flower to push through the snow and herald Spring in Canada – it’s also the Provincial flower of Manitoba. This is not the first time that I’ve embroidered crocus flowers in Stumpwork – but it is the first time that I’ve worked them as a botanical and fully three dimensional. These little blossoms are housed under a glass dome and are pushing through the organza and quartz snow.
Embroidered in Au Ver a Soie and Gloriana Silks, the kit includes all materials required to work the design including the glass dome and base. Design Size: 6cm x 6.5cm not including the dome and base
