Description
Raspberry Treasure Butterfly was inspired by the stunning Hazelnut Graziano 38 count linen background fabric – the minute it arrived in the studio I knew I had to stitch something on it – and a butterfly in the same style of Dragonfly Dreaming sprung quickly to mind.
It is embroidered in English gilt and coloured threads along with Czech glass pearls and Indian coloured badla plate on the background of Italian linen with some Blackwork embroidered using Cottage Garden Threads over-dyed stranded cotton – an assortment of artisan materials sourced from around the world!
