Standing Tall features a lone Australian Grass Tree (Xanthorrhoea) standing on a rocky outcrop. These amazing Australian native plants provides food for some birds while others use their tall flower spikes as a lookout post. This piece uses traditional Goldwork threads in a more contemporary fashion. Worked in a variety of English Goldwork threads and Japanese couching thread over a ‘ground’ of silk and organza fabrics. Design Size: 19cm x 41cm. As with all of my kits, the kit contains all fabrics, threads etc required to work the design
