Tambour thread is not only great for working with a tambour hook, it is also great to stitch with in a needle (I like to use a milliner’s needle for this!) It is a fine wire wound around a core thread – like a very fine version of passing thread.
I keep silver, gilt, and 2% gold threads in stock.
