We will donate the funds to NORSE research as we do with the Kaleidoscope of Butterflies book. This book did have a RRP of $40.00.
NORSE stands for New Onset Refractory Status Epilepticus – or a new case of Epilepsy that does not respond to treatment. It is an extremely rare condition and claimed the life of our beautiful daughter, Bek. Steve and I are now part of the NORSE community and are actively raising funds and awareness of this condition. Your help is very much appreciated.
As with her first book – All That Glitters – The Midas Touch features sections on Basic Supplies and Requirements, Techniques and a Project section. The eleven projects range from small pieces suitable for beginners to this style of embroidery to larger, more complex designs for those already hooked on Goldwork and Stumpwork embroidery.
Laid out with clear diagrams, colour photographs and hints and tips, this book is a valuable resource for the embroiderer.
