Description
A Stumpwork Tigerlily with golden stem and bronze kid leather leaves – worked in lustrous striking orange silks on a background of Bali Batik cotton. This piece is an excellent starter for those who have not had a go at Stumpwork embroidery before and features two wiring techniques – one for edging the petals and the other for working the pistil and stamens. The design size is approximately 12cm x 12cm. As usual, the kit contains everything required to work the design.
Note: I have run out of the fabric pictured and have secured a small amount of an almost the same Bali Batik – it’s just a little bit lighter
