Description
Trillium was originally designed to teach in Canada for their National Seminar in Toronto – the Trillium being the Provincial flower for Ontario. This piece is worked on a background of Colourstreams silk velvet worked with gilt metal threads. Two of the three flowers are worked in Cascade silk in needle lace and in long and short stitch, while the third flower is worked in brick stitch using Jap gold. The piece also uses smooth purl, Grecian and is highlighted with Amethyst beads. Design size: 10cm x 25cm approx
