Description
Inspired by my study trip to the UK in August 2009, I embroidered a series of four mythical creatures. The Unicorn is the first in the series. Embroidered on a greenish tinged old gold silk, the Unicorn is embroidered in a variety of silk and metal threads. The background is powdered with tiny paillettes. The roundel is 8.5 cm in diameter.
