Description
After being inspired by a piece of mount board, my husband said ‘now I’ve heard everything’ – but this was the piece created. Combining both Stumpwork and Goldwork techniques, this stained glass window is worked on black satin with luxurious Au Ver a Soie silks. The piece also features a number of specialty threads including Cascade House Lame silk, Kreinik braid, Rajmahal art silk, Madeira #3 and Mettler Polysheen thread – not to forget the smooth purl, smooth passing thread and gold spangles, needles and instructions. The design is approximately 12cm x 17cm.
The window mount set is also now available for your framer to put together in your choice of frame.
