Lucca the Florentine Dragon

Lucca the Florentine Dragon was designed to teach in Lucca for Creative Experiences in 2025.  Lucca is inspired by the illuminated antiphonariums that I saw in Siena in 2010.  Lucca is embroidered on a background of silk dupion in Gumnut Yarns Stars silks and gilt metal threads using Stumpwork and Goldwork techniques.  The design size is approximately 11.5cm x 14cm

This project will be discontinued when current stocks are gone due to Gumnuts threads no longer being available.  Current stock kits are waiting for a thread to arrive to complete the kits - orders will be sent out when the thread has arrived and the kits are complete.
