Our first retreat will be held on the weekend of June 14-16, 2019. It will be a weekend full of stitching – you are welcome to bring a project that you are already working on, or you can start a new project. There will be a special kit for retreat participants that will not be available through the website. The retreat will be a small and personal with only 8 participants.
The itinerary is as follows:
Friday 14th June: Check in to your accommodation and arrive at the studio after 1.00pm. If you are arriving by train, we will collect you from the station, get you checked in and then take you to the studio.
There will be stitching in the studio with free flowing tea and coffee with homemade biscuits until dinner, which will be served in the studio. (Cue the kangaroos…) We will then continue to stitch into the evening and take you back to your accommodation.
Saturday 15th June: Breakfast at your accommodation. We will collect you at 9.30am and bring you to the studio. The morning will be spent stitching with tea/coffee/biscuits until lunch and then more stitching until dinner. Tonight’s dinner is two courses in the gastropub next door to your motel - we also have a private room booked upstairs to stitch into the evening.
Sunday 16th June: Breakfast at your accommodation. We will collect you at 9.30am and bring you to the studio for more stitching and biscuits! Lunch is in the studio again today. After lunch we can drop off to the station for those travelling by train.
