2022 Retreats!

My apologies to everyone that have been waiting for the retreats to open.  I have finally completed moving everyone around that was in a retreat that got cancelled this year due to covid restrictions and with only a few spots left, ended up offering them to those that had been on the waiting list all year. If you would like to be on the waiting list for any of the 2022 retreats, please contact me using the message box at this link:

The retreats will be held on the weekends of February 25-27, March 11-13, June 24-26, July 22-24, September 16-18 and November 25-27, 2022.  They will be weekends full of stitching – you are welcome to bring a project that you are already working on, or you can start a new project.  There will be a special kit for retreat participants that will not be available through the website.  The retreat will be small and personal with only 8 participants.

The itinerary is as follows:

Friday:  Check in to your accommodation and arrive at the studio after 1.00pm.  If you are arriving by train or airport shuttle bus, we will collect you from the station, get you checked in and then take you to the studio.

There will be stitching in the studio with free flowing tea and coffee with homemade biscuits until dinner, which will be served in the studio.  (Cue the kangaroos…)  We will then continue to stitch into the evening and take you back to your accommodation.

Saturday:  Breakfast at your accommodation.  We will collect you at 9.30am and bring you to the studio.  The morning will be spent stitching with tea/coffee/biscuits until lunch and then more stitching until dinner.  Tonight’s dinner is two courses in the gastro-pub next door to your motel.

Sunday:  Breakfast at your accommodation.  We will collect you at 9.30am and bring you to the studio for more stitching and biscuits!  Lunch is in the studio again today.  After lunch we can drop off to the station for those traveling by train/airport shuttle bus.

Inclusions:  16+ hours of stitching time, retreat embroidery kit, tea/coffee/biscuits, Friday dinner and drinks, Saturday continental breakfast, lunch and two course dinner (main meal and dessert), Sunday continental breakfast and lunch, single accommodation in a queen room at 4.5 star motel (Friday and Saturday), transfers to the train station if required (and between the motel and the studio).

Saturday evening’s drinks at the hotel are at your own expense – as are any entrees/soups that you wish to add.

If you are arriving by car, our address is 32 Silverwattle Drive, Invermay.  If coming from Melbourne, take the third Ballarat exit which is the Midland Highway (Creswick Road).

Retreat Cost:  $850.00 per person - if you are local and don't require the accommodation, the price is $600.00 - please advise if you don’t need the accommodation, otherwise it will be booked for you.

Please advise if you have any food allergies.

Deposits of $250.00 are required to secure your place and the balance is broken up into two installments.
