This book features Floral Reticella Needle Lace motifs and stitches as explored by Giuliana and her students. This book expands on Notebook 3 Il Reticello – ‘the same ‘figures’ are modified and elaborated through further embroidery stitches.’ If you are experienced in Reticella then you probably don’t need Notebook 3 – beginners are better to use the two books in combination.
There is a stunning large sampler and some smaller samplers – including lovely coloured Reticella. the large sampler is labelled and the book takes you through all of the motifs used.
Written in Italian, English and French with clear diagrams and lovely colour photos.
